Kyphi Natron Bath Salts

Known as Kyphi by the ancient Greeks, this ancient incense bears the name of Ka’apat, the oldest word in the Egyptian language for incense. Its wonderful aroma permeates the senses and relaxes the spirit, providing a rejuvenating sleep. Ka’apat was burned in ancient Egyptian temples during evening rituals to prepare the gods for their slumber. This blend of Kyphi comes from the Temple of Horus in Edfu, Egypt.

The ancient Egyptians used a blend of natural salts to purify their bodies and clothing. Natron is detoxifying, relieving rash and sunburn, and leaving skin feeling soft and smooth.

The natural salts in natron’s composition will relieve itching and pain from rashes, insect bites, and sunburn. Applying it as a paste will cool the skin, and using it as a scrub is excellent for exfoliating. Natron provides a pH of over 9.5, which is extremely beneficial to the skin as a detoxifying agent.
