The ancient Egyptians bathed religiously with natron and showers or baths in sacred lakes. The Ebers Medical Papyrus from c. 1500 BCE describes animal and plant-based fats and oils were mixed with alkalines or salts to provide a soap-like substance that the ancient Egyptians used to bathe. Our bath salts are formulated to be identical to ancient Egyptian natron, and with our soaps and body washes are also formulated to be similar to the ancient Egyptian soaps to promote the same cleanliness of the ancient Egyptians.
