Ancient Egyptian green eye paint made with traditional fats and oils

Description

The ancient Egyptians used a green eye paint from greenstone or malachite which they ground and mixed with beef tallow, beeswax, and oils. Satjya Natjrw has formulated a traditional eye paint blend from cosmetic grade malachite green mica mineral with zinc oxide to protect from the damaging rays of the sun.

Our 1 oz and 2oz wa’adjw includes a traditional application stick.

Directions: Apply to the eye lid with applicator or brush

Ingredients: beeswax, beef tallow, distilled water, zinc oxide, xanthan gum, malachite green mica, jojoba oil

It’s a decent eyegloss, but I think this formulation would work much more nicely with a cosmetics-grade ocher as a rouge for lips and cheeks.
